Data controller
Parallax ApS (CVR 46154169), Mariendals Alle 5, 4200 Slagelse, Denmark, is the data controller for information you send through this site. You can reach us at contact@parallax.dk.
What we collect
When you contact us, we receive your name, email, organisation, optionally a phone number, and what you tell us about your work or your site. The hosting provider also processes technical information such as IP address, time and requested URL for operation and security. Form spam protection stores a hash of the IP address and submission times; raw IP addresses are not stored by this rate limiter itself.
Why
To reply to your enquiry, assess a beta sign-up or pilot request, and stay in touch during a test or pilot. The legal basis is that you contacted us with a view to possibly working together, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR article 6(1)(b) and (f)). Technical information is processed for our legitimate interest in secure operation and preventing abuse under article 6(1)(f). Required fields are needed to handle your request. Contacting us through the forms is voluntary.
How long
Enquiries that don't lead to working together are deleted no later than 12 months after last contact.
Who sees it
Parallax ApS uses the information for the purposes described and does not sell it. Our hosting provider, Simply.com, handles the site and form emails as a data processor. If you accept analytics, Umami processes visit information on our behalf. We have selected the Umami Cloud EU region.
Cookies and statistics
We use Umami Cloud for visitor analytics, but load it only after your consent. Umami does not use cookies. Statistics include visited pages, the referring website, browser language and screen size, and completed form submissions. Names, email addresses and message contents from forms are not sent to Umami. We remove query parameters and URL fragments from page and referrer URLs. Analytics is retained for up to six months on the selected Hobby plan and used to improve the site, not for advertising. The legal basis is your consent under GDPR article 6(1)(a). Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage. You can change it under "Cookie settings" in the footer; withdrawing consent stops future tracking. Fonts and images are served from our own server. The hosting provider's operation and security logs are separate from visitor analytics.
Your rights
You can request access and correction and, where the conditions are met, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Write to contact@parallax.dk.
